New to our runway stage this year is Desire’e Voight of Desire’e Marie Design. Desire’e Marie Design includes classically feminine, handmade women’s clothing that is inspired both by past and modern trends. Desire’e plans to continue to expand her business, producing more USA-made dresses to be carried in select boutiques across the country.

For the first time, Sumita Bhojwani will bring her designs to the Tampa Bay Fashion Week runway this fall and we’re excited to see her latest collection! Sumita’s fashion brand is called, KalaXpress. Kala is a Hindi word which means “expression of human creative skills and imagination.” Sumita believes one should always dress to express – express yourself, your feelings or your mood for the day. She always tries to create designs that will give a wearer a sense of confidence and power. Simply then, from the combination of these two thoughts comes the word: KalaXpress.
